Even though we have a common room with a dining table in our halls, most people still choose to eat in their rooms. There are a few of us that eat in the same room whilst watching television, but there are others who like to eat in their own rooms at their desks. I think the reason people do not eat in the common room is that we all eat at different times, and dont really want to sit alone in the common room. Also he fact that it is shared by 25 messy students often puts people off!

Wednesday 30/01

I've tried looking at Martin Parr and taking some photos in the style of him, but so far I have not succeeded. I don't like any of the potos I have taken, so I decided to try some more close up shots today. I will try the Martin Parr stuff again tomorrow, see if I have some inspiration then! Will hopefully get some other tips from Hugh tomorrow, but if anyone else has any ideas of how I can make my photos more interesting, they would be greatly appreciated! I have also had a few technical problems with my digital SLR at the moment, so affraid these photos were taken on a phone camera which was not very good qualtity, which is why they are a bit blury.
